February 8th
Josten’s will be here to take orders for class rings and letter jackets today beginning at CAT time through lunch and after school until 6pm.
If you have recently lost earbuds, jewelry, or keys please check with the office. We have several items that have been turned in since we returned from Christmas break.
There will be a Golf team meeting during CAT Time on Friday in the gym with Coach Schlender.
NHS Backpacking during CAT Time Thursday, Team C is Megan Graver, Katie Houchins, Bethany Perry, Gavin Outlaw, Gavin Miller, Delaney Feldmann, Gabriel Kroeck, and Avery Gamm.

There will be an FBLA meeting today during CAT Time in Mrs. Robinson’s room. We will have speakers to talk about business.

Drama club practice has been rescheduled to Friday after school.
Juniors interested in attending Tech next year need to turn in applications to Mrs. Smith by tomorrow.
All juniors need to turn in their course selection sheets with parent signature to Mrs. Smith by this Friday
Tomorrow is “Tip Your Hat to School Counselors”- wear a hat. We will be collecting donations to show support to the Troy community as they are mourning the loss of several students.

Last week, Art 3 & 4 traveled to Jefferson City to tour the capitol and to study the Thomas Hart Benton mural in the House Lounge. Benton's mural will be inspiration for an upcoming project on the History of Bowling Green. Missouri Representative, Chad Perkins, took our students around to see various murals, and busts of famous Missourians including Champ Clark.

1. Juniors and Seniors-If you would like to sign up to attend “To Kill a Mockingbird” at the Fox the evening of March 1st, please sign up with Mr. Hurst or Mrs. Bowen by February 7th. There is no cost to attend outside of buying dinner, but there will be a drawing next Tuesday after school if there are more people who sign up than we have tickets.
2. FBLA District Leadership Conference Attendees, the conference has been rescheduled for Monday, February 13. Plan to be ready at school by 7:00 AM that morning dressed in professional business attire.

1 Tomorrow is National Wear Red day. Wear red to support the American Heart Association for heart health month.
