Each month we want to give a shout out to the staff members who make BGMS so special! This is our January Staff Spotlight!!!




Each month we want to recognize a student from each grade level who exemplifies a positive characteristic that we look for in all of our students. They must also have at least 95% attendance, 0 office referrals, and 0 F's for the month. Once they have met these qualifications they are voted on by staff. December's Characteristic is Kindness. Each full week of school we are going to randomly select two students from each grade as your BGMS All Stars Of The Week. These students must have 0 unexcused absences, 0 tardies, 0 office referrals, 0 missing assignments, and 0 F’s for the week. This week's BGMS All Stars are: 6th Grade: Riley Smith and Bentley Wiler, 7th Grade: Jessica Boyd and Terry Garrett, 8th Grade: Madison Smith and LeBron Griffith. Congratulations!

REMINDER: Friday we are dismissing at 12:55. Students need to know their plans for after school BEFORE they get to school that morning!!!

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
The Bowling Green R-I School encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the school board to file to be a candidate in the April 8, 2025 election. Interested persons may file at the superintendent's office located 700 W Adams St, Bowling Green, MO 63334. Filing is open from December 10, 2024-December 31, 2024. For more information contact the Superintendent’s Office at 573-324-5441 for the days and times the district is open.
