BGMS students will visit the Swap Shop on Monday Dec. 15th and Tuesday Dec. 16th. ALL students will have the opportunity to shop both days! Attached is a shopping list to help students shop and help eliminate unwanted items to be brought home. There are also copies in the MS office. This shopping list is optional. You may send it with your student on the days of the swap shop or email it to cbowman@bgschools.k12.mo.us.

Also, please keep in mind that students may need alternate transportation if items are too large to fit on the bus or walk home with.

The Child Advocacy Center will be presenting a Sexual Abuse Awareness program at BGMS on December 17-18 during PE. Students have received a paper copy of the opt-out form. Each full week of school we are going to randomly select two students from each grade as your BGMS All Stars Of The Week. These students must have 0 unexcused absences, 0 tardies, 0 office referrals, 0 missing assignments, and 0 F’s for the week. BGMS PTO welcomes the community to the Swap Shop on Dec. 16th from 3:30-5pm. This takes place in the HS Auditorium and everything is FREE. Please come and shop for yourself and others! These are all donated items and we want nothing left. Please join us!

Career Technical Education Day - Our eighth-grade students had the opportunity to learn about various courses and programs offered at the high school. Teachers from the Agriculture, Business, and FACS programs shared information about their courses, while a group of student panelists discussed their growth and experiences in the clubs.

BGMS PTO is asking the community to donate their unwanted items. Friday, December 5th, is the last day to donate! We accept all items for all ages as long as it's appropriate, clean, not broken, gently used, etc. Please call the middle school if you have any questions.

On Monday, the 8th-grade Advanced Art class went to the ECC to create clay handprint or footprint
ornaments with all the students. They had a fantastic time learning about the PreK and
Daycare students and routines. Each student worked one-on-one to create unique ornaments.
Everyone was so helpful and wonderful!! Definitely, a new tradition has been started for the 8th-grade
Advanced class.

They must also have at least 95% attendance, 0 office referrals, and 0 F's for the month. Once they have met these qualifications they are voted on by staff.
