We are pleased that you have chosen to find out more about our school district. We believe that we have one of the most progressive districts in the state of Missouri. Our district has a long tradition of seeking the very best for all students of Pike County. Our mission is simple to write yet complex to achieve........prepare today's students for tomorrow's opportunities.
The Bowling Green R-I School District has great teachers and support staff that offer a wide array of classes and programs to suit the needs of every student. Our district has also been successful in providing students with a wide variety of programs and extra-curricular activities. From student organizations like FCCLA, FBLA and FFA to extracurricular activities such as athletics and show choir, I am confident your children will find their interests met in our schools.
Our offerings do not stop at providing top-notch opportunities for our students. We also strive to keep our school community and parents informed of the latest happenings. We have many lines of communication for parents and community members to become involved and stay informed. Through our website and by following us on Facebook, you can subscribe to the news of a specific school or look at our various calendars of events. We also have a quarterly program called "The Bobcat Brunch" where community members have a chance to sit down with myself, school board members, and other district administrators who are available that day to ask questions about our district. Stay tuned to our website and local newspapers for upcoming dates and locations for "The Bobcat Brunch".

Supplemental Educational Services (SES)
Under the Federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), this option of after-school tutoring by an approved provider is available to parents of eligible children that attend a Title I school in School Improvement Level 2, and every year thereafter the building is in School Improvement status. If your child attends Bowling Green Elementary School and is an eligible student, they qualify for after school tutoring by a state approved provider. Please contact the Bowling Green R-I Central Offices at 324-5441 for a list of approved SES providers.
