The Census, Your Community and Your Schools
This is the year and time that all of us will be subjected to information concerning the April, 2010 U.S. Census. A few people take this very seriously and ensure that they are counted by filling out and returning their forms. Others do not take it so seriously or do not complete and return their forms for a variety of reasons which may include, not wanting the government to have too much information, fear that the information submitted may be used against them either locally or by the government, fear that they may get caught doing something illegal (i.e.- illegal immigrant, unpaid taxes, outstanding warrants, not meeting local building or occupancy codes, etc.), or they do not understand how this information helps the local county, cities and schools.
