Part-Time Title Reading Teacher
Bowling Green Elementary School is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Part-Time Title Reading Tutor for the 2023-2024 school year. Qualifications for this position include the following: Must hold or be eligible for certification in the area and successful completion of a background check. Extra duty and/or coaching assignments are possible and could be available with this position. This position will remain open until May 18, 2023 or until a suitable candidate has been hired. Grades 6-12 Math Intervention Teacher
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instructional responsibilities: 1. Provides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for math services in individual, small group settings, or full class assignments. 2. Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement of district’s and state’s math content standards. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects using formal and informal assessment data obtained from student performance. 3. Uses a variety of manipulatives and hands-on activities to support content standards and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved. 4. Creates a classroom environment and research-based program of study that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
