John T. Belcher Scholarship November 19, 2024
Any student is eligible to apply. Students must complete ONE of the essay prompts at the bottom of the application. Please turn your completed application in to Mrs. Splain or Mrs. Holland in the Counseling Center.  For this scholarship, our school board members pick one student to apply for the regional award of $1,000. The regional winner is automatically eligible to compete for the statewide competition which provides an additional $1,500.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation  December 1, 2024
Must be a U.S. Citizen, must attend an eligible public high school, must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average,
must enroll at an Eligible Four-Year College or University the first semester following high school graduation,
must work 240 hours from January 1, 2024, until the commencement of the 2024 fall semester in college. Preferred employment is regularly scheduled non-family employment performed under supervision for compensation. However, if you work on a family farm or for a family business this may be acceptable for first-year recipients. Applicant's Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2022 Federal Income Taxes Purposes must not have exceeded $85,000.

Pike Co. Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers  December 18, 2024
Applicants need to be a Pike County, Missouri high school senior involved in agriculture who plans to continue his or her involvement in agriculture, and likely to return to Pike County upon graduation from college. The application must be typed if possible and is due to the Bowling Green Farm Bureau office or emailed to pcfbyfscholarship@gmail.com by 3:00 pm. All contact will be through email. Legacy Award ELKS Scholarship  February 3, 2025
For the 2025 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the Order on or before April 1, 2022, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2022, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2025. Great-grandchildren are not eligible. The applicant must apply online only.

Lincoln/Pike County Cattlemen Scholarship February 14, 2025
Applicant must be a high school senior or college student and have a GPA of 2.5 or better, and must be a Lincoln or Pike County resident. Emphasis will be given to students seeking an Ag-Related Degree. Must email application, three letters of recommendation, and transcript to Taylor@BraungardtAg.com by 1:00 p.m.

MFA Scholarship February 15, 2025
The scholarship winner is selected by a local committee, which considers the applicant's: interest in furthering his/her education in agriculture or other fields that benefit rural life, participation and leadership in school, church, and community activities, reputation for good citizenship, and moral character, financial need, income and willingness to work, and satisfactory academic progress. Farm Kids for College Information February 18, 2025
Must be a high school senior pursuing an agriculture-related degree at an accredited college/university. Scholarship amount: $1,000.

FCS Financial Scholarship March 1, 2025
You must be a child or grandchild of an FCS Financial customer to be eligible for this scholarship. Additionally, students who are a relative of a director or an employee or who are receiving a full-ride scholarship are not eligible to receive the FCS Financial scholarship. Each year up to 35 scholarships for $1,500 each are provided to eligible Missouri high school seniors.

Louisiana Elks Lodge #791 Scholarship  March 1, 2025
This scholarship takes the place of the George Trimble, George Keith, and Bob Battern Memorial Scholarships. You must be a graduating senior attending a 4 or 2-year college/university, technical school, or vocational school. Due in the Counseling Center.

4-H Foundation Scholarships March 1, 2025
Numerous local and state scholarships are available. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 unless otherwise defined by the donor and must plan to enroll in a post-secondary school.

First Christian Church Scholarship March 1, 2025
Applicant must be a BGHS senior.

MAMIC March 1, 2025
The candidate must be a graduating high school senior living in Missouri, the candidate must have successful admission to a college, university, community college, or vocational school in Missouri, candidate must submit the MAMIC High School Scholarship application with a copy of high school transcript and photo by the official deadline.

Bowling Green Lions Club Scholarship March 14, 2025 
Based on financial need, high school activities, community activities, and you must write a statement about yourself. Due in the Counseling Center.

Paschal-Lawson Scholarship March 14, 2025  
Bowling Green High School graduate who is attending Culver-Stockton College with a good academic record; who shows promise in their chosen field; who has been active in their school; and who shows need for the scholarship. Due in Counseling Center.

Michael Doughty Memorial Scholarship March 15, 2025
Applicants must have an interest in being a chef, coach, or going into law enforcement. Applicants must also complete the essay prompt about their goals and aspirations and how this scholarship will help them.

Peoples Bank & Trust Co. Scholarship  March 15, 2025
Any high school senior who is a US citizen who attends a school in Lincoln County (Silex R-1, Elsberry R-2, Troy R-3, and Winfield R-4), Warren County R-III, St. Dominic, Christian High School, Fort Zumwalt (North, South, East and West), Francis Howell Central, Clopton High School, Bowling Green R-I, Louisiana R-2 schools and any Home School students that reside in these districts are eligible to apply. Minimum cumulative 2.75 grade point average. This is an online application that would like a copy of your transcript. You will need to fill out a transcript request form requesting your transcript be sent to your email by Tina. Please allow 2-3 school days.

Charles E. Kruse Agriculture Scholarship March 15, 2025
Applicants must be Missouri residents, parent(s) or guardians must hold a current Farm Bureau membership in Missouri, and a high school senior enrolling in a 4-year Missouri college or university with a declared major in an agricultural field. Online application. 

Sara Straube Anders Memorial Elementary Education Scholarship  March 21, 2025
Any Senior majoring in Early Childhood or Elementary (K-6) education.  Applications are available for student teachers. Due in Counseling Center.

Ceara Flowers Perkins Memorial Scholarship  March 21, 2025
Must be a BGHS senior who is pursuing a degree in the medical field. A preference will be given to someone pursuing a degree in nursing. Scholarship applications will be scored based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service involvement, work, honors/awards/ recognitions, and an essay.  

PEO CLEO Bankhead Scholarship March 25, 2025  
Must have a 3.5 GPA, will also consider student activities. Due in the Counseling Center.

Champ Clark Honey Shuck Scholarship  March 27, 2025
BGHS Class of 25 Senior. Accepted into college for Fall 22. Planning to major in Law, Political Science or Education. Scholarship, activity participation, and good citizenship are a factor for consideration but no set requirements. Due in Counseling Center.

Champ Clark Memorial Auxiliary VFW Post 5553   March 27, 2025
One scholarship will be awarded to a son, daughter, or grandchild of a veteran of Bowling Green Post 5553 or Post 5553 VFW Auxiliary member.  $500 for each award. The scholarship will be awarded in the second semester of the student's first year.  Due in the Counseling Center.

Champ Clark Memorial VFW Post 5553   March 27, 2025 
One scholarship will be awarded to a son, daughter, or grandchild of a veteran of Bowling Green Post 5553 or Post 5553 VFW Auxiliary member.  $500 for each award. The scholarship will be awarded in the second semester of the student's first year. Due in the Counseling Center.

Bryson Brandenburger Blue Collar Scholarship March 27, 2025
Applicant must be a BGHS graduating senior who plans to pursue a career in the workforce after high school.

Scherder Bros. Ag Scholarship  March 31, 2025  
Applicants must be a Pike County resident and be graduating from a Pike County School with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be entering his/her freshman year as full-time student at a two or four-year accredited college, technical school, or university. Applicants must be pursuing a degree related to Agriculture (Agricultural Business, Crop Science, Animal Management, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural  Education, etc.) Applicants cannot be a first or second-generation offspring of the Charitable Fund Board or Selection committee members. Please note that in addition to the application this scholarship requires: two letters of recommendation (in a sealed envelope), one wallet-sized photo, and a copy of the applicant's high school transcript.

Hannibal Regional Healthcare Careers Scholarship March 31, 2025
Applicant must be a permanent resident of Adair, Audrain, Lewis, Linn, Livingston, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls, Randolph, Schuyler or Shelby counties. Must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher (include a copy of current transcript). Students must be attending a community college, university or technical/trade school in a healthcare-related field of study. Application will be reviewed by the Hannibal Regional Foundation Scholarship Committee and the recipient will be notified by mail/email. Funds for the scholarship will be sent directly to the recipient subject to proof of enrollment (submitted to Foundation@hannibalregional.org) for the respective school year. Applicant must demonstrate leadership potential through extracurricular activities and work experience. Please return the completed form to the Hannibal Regional Scholarship Committee, PO Box 551, Hannibal, MO 63401, or to Foundation@hannibalregional.org.

The Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture Vocational Scholarship Program March 31, 2025
Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture awards four $500 scholarships annually to students pursuing a degree or appropriate certification in fields related to and supportive of agriculture. This includes but is not limited to 1) Heavy Equipment Operations; 2) Electronics; 3) Welding; and 4) Diesel and Farm Machinery Repair. Applicants must be: Missouri residents and they, their parent(s) or guardians must hold a current Farm Bureau membership, enrolled as a full-time student, enrolled for a fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded, pursuing an associate of applied science degree or certification in a trade related to agriculture as listed above.

FBLA Scholarship  April 1, 2025 
Student must be a BGHS Class of 2025 graduate and FBLA member who is seeking a degree in the field of business. Applications are to be turned in to Mrs. Robinson or the Counseling Center.

Pike County Mutual Insurance  April 1, 2025 
Senior attending a college or university in the state of Missouri.  Payment is made at the beginning of the second semester and paid directly to the student.  The student will need to provide proof of completion of the first semester and proof of enrollment in the second semester to receive their check. Due in the Counseling Center.

Heir Study Scholarship  April 1, 2025
A graduating Bowling Green High School senior who will be enrolling as a full-time student at a college or a technical school. Based on Leadership, School and Community Activities, Honors, and Academics. Due in the Counseling Center.

Raintree Arts Council - McIlroy, Art for Art's sake,  April 1, 2025
 The same application is used for both scholarships.
1. Jamie McIlroy Memorial Scholarship - is for the visual arts areas including art education, design areas, and other visual arts concentration areas ($500)
2. Art for Art's sake - for those with a passion for art as well as music, theater, and drama  (the amount depends on the number of applicants).

Home Care & Hospice Foundation Nursing Scholarship April 1, 2025 
Applicant must be a resident of Pike County. The recipient is encouraged to work as a nurse in Pike County for at least one year after graduation (if possible). The applicant may only be awarded the scholarship once per nursing degree pursued. Note: This application requires two reference sheets to be completed.

Pike County Farm Bureau April 1, 2025
Applicant must be a senior with an average to above academic record and must attend an accredited college (two or four year), vo-tech institute, or trade school in the fall of 2024 for a minimum of one semester and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA. Parent(s) must be current members of Pike County Farm Bureau and must have been members prior to August 31, 2023. Due in the Counseling Center.

Pike County Fair Association Scholarship April 1, 2025 
Senior student that has attended their current graduating school as a junior and a senior. Must be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution. Applications must be completed and turned in to the Counseling Center before the deadline on the application. Due in the Counseling Center.

Pike County Fairboard Vocational Scholarship April 1, 2025
Applicant must be a Pike County Missouri resident, enrolled as a full-time student, enrolled for the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded, and must be pursuing an associate of applied science degree or certification in a trade/vocational-related area including but not limited to: Heavy Equipment Operations, Electronics, Welding, Diesel and Farm Machinery Repair, or LPN/CNA. Due in the Counseling Center.

BGHS Alumni Scholarship  April 4, 2025 
Must have attended BGHS for 2 years, must have post-secondary plans for four-year college or university, two-year college, vocational school, nursing school, etc. (Several $1,000 scholarships based on availability of funds). Due in Counseling Center.

Peoples Savings Bank April 4, 2025
Seeking graduating seniors with a record of volunteerism in the community in non-school sponsored activities
and participation in extracurricular school activities. Applicants must plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college, technical, or trade school. If you mail your application DO NOT staple papers together and DO NOT print on both sides of the paper. If you email your application all files must be in PDF format.

Bobcat Boosters Leslie J. Calvert Scholarship April 5, 2025
This scholarship is awarded to one boy and one girl. Applicant must have participated and been a member of an athletic team for at least 3 years. $250 each. Due in Counseling Center.

ECAA Scholarship April 9, 2025
Any BGHS senior is eligible. Students must complete a brief essay and have two letters of recommendation.

Bramblett Memorial Scholarship  April 10, 2025 
Applicants must be area residents who are graduating in May from Bowling Green High School or have graduated in the past from Bowling Green High School. Due in Counseling Center.

CTA Future Teacher Scholarship  April 11, 2025
Must be a senior or a graduate of BGHS, the student must plan to attend college to pursue a degree in education (early childhood to secondary teaching). Due in Counseling Center.

Edwin M. Porter Scholarship April 11, 2025
Applicants must be a senior from Bowling Green High School or a college student currently enrolled who graduated from Bowling Green High School. Applicants must be enrolled in or already enrolled in a four-year college for the fall of 2025. Applications may be picked up at the Central Office or printed from the link. The scholarship needs to be notarized.  Tina in the office can do this for you.

Pike County Retired School Personnel Scholarship April 11, 2025
For any BGHS senior who is pursuing a degree in education.

Cuivre River Electric Cooperative April 11, 2025
Applicant must reside in Lincoln, Pike, St. Charles, or Warren counties in Missouri. Applicants are required to provide a transcript, two letters of recommendation, a complete copy of their Student Aid Report, write a narrative to highlight their academic achievements and community service, state their career goals, and demonstrate a financial need. Funds are for on-campus expenses, such as tuition, books, and campus housing. Scholarships will be awarded in an amount not to exceed $1,000 per academic year. Scholarships are not renewable. Applicants who choose to reapply must submit a new completed application. Previous applications are not kept on file. Scholarships are available for Undergraduate and Adult Education/Vocational Training students attending accredited schools. This is an online application.

William Mallory Scholarship April 15, 2025
The applicant must be a member in good standing with the Bowling Green FFA Chapter and interested in pursuing a degree in an agricultural-related field. A recipient will be selected based on honors, awards, offices, activities, work experiences, and statement of goals.  Due in the Counseling Center.

Edward T. Woods Memorial April 15, 2025
Applicant must be studying meat processing or pursuing a degree in an Ag-related field.

Kathy Tinsley Education Scholarship April 15, 2025 
Applicant must be a current BGHS student or previous graduate majoring in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. In your handwriting, you must describe why you would like to become a teacher. DO NOT type your response in the space.  Due in the Counseling Center.  

Jr. Ellis Memorial Scholarship  April 17, 2025
Must have participated in sports, which includes cheerleading, at BGHS.  The application includes a 200-word essay and requires two letters of recommendation.  Due in the Counseling Center.

The American Legion Scholarship Program April 20, 2025 - use this link to access the applications to the scholarships listed below
Lillie Lois Ford - Two awards of $1,000 each are given each year.  One award is given to a boy who has attended The American Legion Boys State of Missouri or a full session of the Department's Cadet Patrol Academy. The second award is given to a girl who has attended The American Legion Auxiliary's Girls State program or a full session of the Department's Cadet Patrol Academy.

Charles L. Bacon - Two awards of $750.00 are given annually in memory of the first Missourian to serve as National Commander of The American Legion.  Eligible are individuals who are currently members of The American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, or the Sons of The American Legion, or a descendant* of a member of any thereof.  Applicants must be unmarried, a resident of Missouri, under the age of 21, and must use the scholarship as a full-time student in an accredited college or university.

American Legion - M.D. Jack Murphy Memorial Nurses Training - Currently, one $1,000 award is given each year, and may, by application, be extended for a second year.  This award is available to a Missouri boy or girl training to be a Registered Nurse and may be used in their freshman or subsequent college years. The student must have graduated in the top forty percent of their high school class or have a "C" or equivalent standing from their last college or university semester. 

Erman W. Taylor - Two $750.00 awards are given annually to a student planning on obtaining a degree in education, in honor of this Past National Executive Committeeman from Missouri.  To be eligible, individuals must:  (1) be a descendant (2) be a Missouri resident; (3) use the award as a full-time student at an accredited college or university; (4) provide a copy of the discharge certificate for the veteran on whose service the application is made; and (5) submit an essay of 500 words or less on the subject    In your opinion, what was the most significant world event of this past year?

Joseph L. Frank - One boy who has attended a full session of Missouri Boys State or Missouri Cadet Patrol and one girl has attended a full session of Missouri Girls State or Missouri Cadet Patrol. Must be the descendent* of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Space Force, or Coast Guard of the United States, and having an honorable discharge. A copy of the veteran's discharge or separation notice must be submitted with the application. The copy must show the date the veteran entered service and the date the veteran left service. Be a resident of the state of Missouri. An unmarried dependent under the age of 21. Must be attending an accredited college/university as a full-time student. Consideration for scholarships will be determined annually for high school graduates in NEED of financial aid to attend a college/university. Scholarship must be used the first fall semester of a college/university following graduation from high school.

Tud Rowe Agricultural Memorial Scholarship  April 30, 2025 
Must be a BGHS senior who is pursuing a degree/career in the agricultural field. Scholarship applications will be scored based on academic performance, extracurricular activities and involvement in 4-H & FFA, farming/agricultural background, community service involvement, work, honors/awards/recognition, and an essay.
Must include hand-written application, 2 letters of recommendation, 1000 words or less TYPED, and an unofficial transcript. Due in Counseling Center.

Edward Thomas Tinsley Scholarship April 30, 2025
Graduating senior from BGHS, must have attended BGHS for two years, with a 3.0 GPA, and intent to pursue a bachelor's degree at any accredited college or university.

Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Scholarship  May 1, 2025   
Must be a graduating senior with a grade point average of 4.0 or LESS. Planning to attend any vocational school, vocational nursing school, a 2-year business college, or a 4-year college.  Due in the Counseling Center.

Mary Oberman Memorial Scholarship May 1, 2025
Student must be a senior at Bowling Green High School pursuing a RN degree, preferably, but will consider anyone going into the medical field. Student must have a 2.5 grade point average or higher. Student must plan to continue their education at a two-year community college, a four-year college or university, or a technical program. The scholarship funds will be paid after completing the first semester of studies and proof of enrollment for the second semester.

RootEd Undergraduate Scholarship May 15, 2025
To be eligible to be considered for this scholarship you must: be a graduating high school senior, planning to enter college as an incoming freshman in the 2024-2025 academic year, plan to enroll in a bachelor’s degree-granting program at an accredited, nonprofit college or university, have earned a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average while in high school, and demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or similar need calculations. Students must create an account through My Scholarship Central.

EMO Conference Scholarship June 1, 2025 
Must be a senior who has participated in EMO conference events and has been recognized at least twice by the conference. Each conference principal will select one boy and one girl to represent their school in the final selection process. This includes the EMO Band & Choir. Applicant must also have 95% attendance and a GPA of 2.5 and above. Due in the Counseling Center.

Pike County Sheriff's Office Scholarship March 28, 2024 
Senior who wishes to pursue a career in criminal justice & must have completed the first semester with a 2.0 or better GPA. Selection is based on scholastic achievement, school activities,  community involvement, and work ethic. Due in Counseling Center.

Karma Lynn Niemeyer Memorial Medical Scholarship April 12, 2024
One scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a career in the medical field. Due in the Counseling Center.

Richard Baker Memorial Scholarship, Sponsored by Poage Ford, BG.  April 12, 2024 
Must be a graduating Senior from Bowling Green High School, open to any post-secondary education.

Ean T. West Memorial Scholarship  April 19, 2024 
Must be a senior with a strong moral character who participated at least two years on the BGHS cross-country team and planning to attend a trade school or a two/four-year college. Criteria for selection will include community service and activities. $500. Please note, that this scholarship requires three letters of recommendation. Due in Counseling Center.

Kaleo Dade Memorial Scholarship   May 3, 2024 
Applicants must be a BGHS student-athlete with a GPA between 2.0 and 3.25. Applicant must be planning to attend a post-secondary education or training program and complete the 500-word essay.
