New Student Registration

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

 

All students new to the District must bring birth certificate, social security card, shot records and proof of residency (for example utility bill) to register.

KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS

Must be at least five years old by August 1, 2013. Each child will need to have a copy of birth certificate, social security number, and up-to-date immunization record the first day of school if the child is not pre-registered.

ELEMENTARY REGISTRATION

(New Students)

August 5, 6 & 7 – 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00 p.m.

August 1 - Bowling Green Elementary Class Lists will be posted in the glass hallway.

Bowling Green Elementary Meet The Teacher on August 13 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Frankford Elementary Meet The Teacher on August 12 from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

MIDDLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION

August 5, 6 & 7 – Students who are new to the District should enroll 8:00-12:00 and   1:00-3:00 p.m.

August 12 – 6th grade orientation in Auditorium 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

August 12 – Open House for 7th & 8th grade students 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION

July 30 – Schedules available via Parent Web Access.

July 30 & 31 – Schedules may be picked up at HS office between 8:30-11:30 and 1:00-2:30.   Dates for schedule changes:

August 1 – Seniors; August 2 – Juniors; August 5 – Sophomores and Freshmen; August 8 – make-up.   8:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00.

August 5, 6 & 7 – Registration for students new to the District or who were not enrolled in the District at the end of the last school year 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00 p.m.

August 13 – BGHS Bobcat Bonanza from 5:00-8:00 p.m.   All students & families are invited to come meet the staff and kick off the 2013-14 school year.

August 13 – Freshmen orientation in High School Auditorium 7:00 p.m.

IMMUNIZATIONS

According to State Law requirements, ALL students attending Bowling Green R-I Schools must have up-to-date immunization records on file by August 15, 2013. Transferring students will need to have a copy on file before they can attend school. There is no grace period.

SCHOOL PICTURES

School pictures will be taken on August 30 at the High School and Middle School, and on August 23 at the Elementary Schools.
