------ Announcement ------

posted Aug 14, 2017, 9:07 AM by George Beshears

BGR-1 schools  implemented a new visitor management system in the summer of 2017.  This new security system offers a fast, simple way to approve individuals who visit our school. It will streamline our check-in process.

Providing a safe, secure school is always a priority for BGR-1.

Door-access technology requires visitors to buzz-in to the school office before entering the school during school hours.  Our doors have signs that direct visitors to the access button on entrance doors.  If an office assistant communicates through the speaker, just respond by speaking into the speaker.

  • Visitor check-in centers are located in the front office of our schools.  After approved for entry, proceed to the front office to sign in.
  • Security cameras monitor the building and parking lots.
  • All exterior doors are locked.
  • All visitors wear Identification badges.

Visitors may be asked to provide a driver's license when they arrive at the school front office.

  • When the visitor has been verified, the office assistant will provide a name tag that includes the name, date, time and destination in the building.
  • Then, the visitor will wear this badge while in the building, allowing for easy identification of all guests.
